Chofa - Thailand

Very nice mid sized Chofa—complete with small bell. A Chofa is the finial on either end of the roof peaks of Thai Buddhist temples. Shaped like a stylized bird’s head, it symbolizes either Garuda, the mount of the god Vishnu , or Hamas, the mount of the god Brahma.
Original condition - usual degradation due to exposure to elements — some minor repairs. A very nice decorator piece.
